What steps are being taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at Harbor Community Birth?
Telehealth Appointments - To help reduce exposure, telehealth appointments are available if you or a family member have tested positive for Covid-19 or have symptoms of illness.
Masks - Masks will be worn by everyone over the age of 2 who comes to an appointment at the office. Masks are not required (but are encouraged) in your ow home. I do ask that anyone who isn't a part of your household who is planning to come to your birth, consider wearing a mask to prevent passing illness to the newborn baby.
Disinfecting - Measures to disinfect surfaces and equipment in the office have been increased. In addition, heightened protocols have been developed to disinfect at homebirths.
Exclusion - At this time clients who have symptoms or known exposure to Covid-19 at the time of birth will be referred to the hospital for birth.

Accepting private insurance, self pay, and medicaid for homebirths!
